Paul Curry’s Out of this World first appeared in print in 1942. It created an instant sensation, and is one of those rare effects in magic where the audience wonders if it is actually seeing something truly miraculous. 

As good as it was, there was always room for improvement. Many magicians have taken up the challenge, including Curry himself with his “Nu-Way Out of This World.” Some of the other variations include:

What makes Greg’s version so strong is that it is simple to perform, you don’t have to stop in the middle to switch packets, it can be done with any deck, and they mix the cards.
