Paul Curry's Out of this World is one of the great classics of magic. To insure the spectator doesn't cheat by looking at the faces of the cards, the magician uses his index finger to push the cards, face down, ONLY
off the top of the deck, ONE card at a time, towards the spectator as fast as he can. The spectator then decides if those face down cards are red or black by putting them in front of their respective indicator cards. In Cosmos, they get to mix the cards, and they each get to choose whether a given face down card is red or black. They can stop at any time they would like and see that the remaining cards are in random order. When they have gone through as many cards as they would like, the magician or mentalist lets them turn the face down packets over to reveal that they have scored 100%- an occurrence with the probability of 1 out of 1,125,899,906,842,624! This version can be done with a borrowed deck with no setup ahead of time required.

The COSMOS KICKER

Effect:

At the end of COSMOS, the performer demonstrates how "magicians" separate red cards from black cards.  The cards are shuffled and spread to show they are mixed.  A red card and black card is thrown on the table face up.  The magician instantly places half the cards face down on the red card, and the other half on the black.  When the cards are turned over, not only are the colors PERFECTLY SEPARATED, they are also in a PERFECT NUMERICAL ORDER!

Since the cards had just been shuffled by the spectators for COSMOS, this perfect numerical order, seems even more IMPOSSIBLE.

Conditions:

* A VERY strong FAST kicker to COSMOS
* Instantly Resets
* Requires only one (very simple) sleight
* Can NOT be done impromptu (requires a previous setup)
* Can NOT be done with a borrowed deck

Let it Ride!

Effect:

The magician shows a red card and a black card off the top of the deck.

From the 2 face down cards in his hand the spectator chooses which card is 

black.  No matter how many times you do this, the spectator ALWAYS picks out the black card from the red one!

Conditions:

* Can be performed standing up (no table or floor required)
* Can be performed with any deck of cards
* only requires one sleight
* All the magic happens in the hands of the spectator
* When the spectator makes his choise, you can immediatly show the FULL face of the card is BLACK
* The magician may choose to show the FULL face of the other card is RED
* The magician must arrange the cards so they alternate red black (for only 20 cards maximum)
